If you are choosing a tree earlier in the season we recommend Noble fir, Nordmann fir, Fraser fir and Subalpine fir, as these tree species have excellent needle retention with regular watering. Douglas fir and Grand fir are excellent choices for a December cut date. We recommend that you do not place your tree next to a heat source as this will dry out the tree faster.
